I use Relational-Cultural Theory to frame my understanding of what you are experiencing. Relational-Cultural Theory integrates interpersonal, feminist, and culturally-competent theories of counseling. All of my work is trauma-informed, where your consent and collaboration are vital to the therapy process. I also use evidence-based strategies such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy.
